In 2020, Tim Schultz assumed the role of Director of Sports Information and Assistant Athletic Director at Tampa Prep, following a tenure at Notre Dame Preparatory in Scottsdale, AZ, where he served as associate director of athletics and educator for two years.
During his time at Notre Dame Prep, Schultz oversaw over 27 varsity athletic programs and a student body of over 800, acting as the primary media liaison. He modernized the school's athletic communications, expanded social media presence, and introduced a new website. Schultz also expanded camps and clinics offerings, implementing an efficient online registration system, while teaching Social Studies and Technology courses.
Prior to joining Notre Dame Prep, Schultz spent eight years at Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown, PA, serving as both a teacher and athletic administrator. As athletic director from 2013 to 2017, he supervised over 21 varsity sports and over 400 students, including middle school athletics following a merger. Schultz improved athletic communications with the implementation of a dedicated website, managed facility upgrades, and spearheaded the introduction of wrestling as a new varsity sport.
Schultz graduated with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies-Secondary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2010, and earned a master's degree in Sports Management from Ohio University in 2017. He obtained certification as a Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association in 2023. In 2024, Schultz was elected as a Director At Large for the Florida Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (FIAAA).
