Nick Carlin (Class of 2019) joined the Tampa Prep coaching staff in 2025 as Head Coach of the Diving Program. He returns to his alma mater with a distinguished background as a University of Florida diver and a proven track record of competitive excellence.
A standout during his time at Tampa Prep, Carlin was a two-time All-American and served as varsity team captain for three seasons. He continued his diving career at the University of Florida, where he qualified in both springboard events at the NCAA Diving Zones, finishing 23rd on the 1-meter and 27th on the 3-meter. He also posted personal bests at the Auburn Diving Invite, scoring 336.85 in the 3-meter and 193.00 on the platform.
Carlin’s success extends to the national stage, where he consistently placed in the top five in 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform dives at the AAU Nationals, achieving top-five finishes in all categories across four years.
