Kelly Crowell-Goehl was named head diving coach at Tampa Prep in August 2021.
Crowell-Goehl comes to Tampa Prep with coaching experience on all levels of age-group diving, including springboard and platform events. Most recently, she coached the dive team for the West Florida Lightning in Largo, FL. Her daughter, who swam for the Lightning, went on the swim and dive team at Liberty University.
As a collegiate student-athlete, Kelly was a springboard & platform diver for Texas Christian University from 1989-1993. She qualified for the NCAA Championships for three consecutive years from 1991-1993, and she was named All-American in platform diving by the NCAA. In 2017, Texas Christian University inducted her into the Hall of Fame.
She has a bachelor’s of science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
