TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Prep is proud to announce the hiring of Eddie Ababio as Head Varsity Boys' Soccer Coach. Coach Ababio brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to developing young talent to the program.

Ababio is a former professional soccer player with a distinguished career, including stints with the Colorado Rapids, CD Aguila, Tampa Bay Rowdies, and Carolina Railhawks. He also represented the U.S. Men's National Teams at various youth levels and played for the University of North Carolina Men's Soccer Team, where he was a two-time NCAA Men's College Cup Semifinalist and a one-time Finalist. A 2x Parade All-American during his high school career, Ababio is currently the Boy's Assistant ECNL Director at Florida Premier FC and holds USSF B, C, D, E, and F coaching licenses.

Athletic Director Chris Lavoie remarked, "We are thrilled to welcome Coach Ababio to Tampa Prep. Our boys' soccer program has a strong tradition of success and Eddie's impressive background and deep understanding of the game will be invaluable as we build on that success. We are confident that his leadership will help us continue to excel."
