TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa Prep Terrapins Varsity knocked in six runs in the second on its way to an 11-2 victory over Sports Leadership & Management on Friday. The rally was led by doubles by Ben Mensch and Ethan Frame and a single by Will Sotiropoulos.

Tampa Prep Terrapins Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when Grant Varner singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Tampa Prep Terrapins Varsity put up six runs in the second inning. The offensive firepower by Tampa Prep Terrapins Varsity was led by Mensch, Sotiropoulos, and Frame, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Ty Jones was credited with the victory for Tampa Prep Terrapins Varsity. Jones went four innings, allowing two runs on five hits, striking out four and walking zero. Roger Haughey threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Haughey recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Tampa Prep Terrapins Varsity.

D. Genaro took the loss for Sports Leadership & Management. Genaro went one and two-thirds innings, allowing eight runs on seven hits, striking out one and walking one.
