TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa Prep hosted the inaugural Headmasters' Challenge on January 10, 2004. This annual tradition honors our athletic rivalry with Berkeley Preparatory School. Traditionally, our middle school, junior varsity and varsity winter sports teams (basketball, soccer, wrestling) all compete for the highly coveted Headmasters' Cup. The location of the games alternate between campuses.
Like everything else post-COVID, however,
this year's Headmasters' Challenge ("Upper School Day of Competition") looks a bit different. It is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Berkeley Prep. Because of social distancing and other safety protocols, the event is modified to include only varsity games for soccer and basketball.

Though all Terrapins and their families are usually encouraged to attend, this time
there is no general admission for the events. Spectators are limited to only two family members per rostered athlete and a limited number of students. Student tickets were selected via a random lottery and will be distributed to the winners this week. Everyone in attendance must wear masks and maintain appropriate social distancing.

- Boys' Basketball (12:00 p.m. | Straz Field House | Live Stream); FINAL: Berkeley 57, Tampa Prep 22
